In this small guide, we will try to give you some advice on places that you should definitely visit on your holidays in Ibiza. We will try to recommend a different activity depending on the day of the week, hope you enjoy the guide and your stay in the island

Monday

Santa Eulalia del Rio could be a really good place to start while your stay in Ibiza. Santa Eulalia is the village of Ibiza where most of the residents live (beside Ibiza town). There is a roman bridge that connects the main road from Ibiza to the village, and there is also a roundabout that will be very helpful to cross the village and avoid the dense traffic in summer (for example on your way to Es Canar or San Carlos).

The village developed starting from the Puig de Missa church, with a tower next to it, that was built to allow the use of light artillery which was used to deffend the village from the pirates.

There is a museum at the Puig de Missa in which you will learn the lifestyle of the Ibicencos.

At the end of the day, monday night, there is the Las Dalias night Hippie Market at San Carlos, very nice night market with lots of different activities, starting at 20:00

Tuesday

Continuing our visit to the north of the island, just after Santa Eulalia, we will move to Cala San Vicente, about 10km to the north.

Cala San Vicente: 380 meters long and 30 meters wide. The beach is not too deep, that makes it perfect for the children.

The access to the Cala San Vicente is probably the best of the place itself, nice and curvy roads, that are used in October for the Spanish Rally Championship "Pujada Sa Cala". Just be aware of where you leave your car!

Wednesday

Wednesday in Ibiza means just one word HIPPIE MARKET in Es Canar (Punta Arabi). The biggest hippie market of Ibiza, from 10:00 to 18:00, with more than 500 stalls. You will find items from all over the world. A must see experience!

Thursday

After the Hippier Market, it's time to relax, and there is no better place than Portinatx and the port of San Miguel. Portinatx is a very nice area, with cliffs, and has a very nice Cala just next to it called Cala Xarraca.

San Miguel on the other hand, offers you a nice visit to the Caves of Can Marça, 45 minutes of a very nice experience (guided visit) inside the caves. Please, be aware of the 300 steps!

The beach of Benirras and the port of San Miguel are also on our must visit places of the island!

Friday

To finish our route of the north of Ibiza, we recommend you to visit the villages of Santa Gertrudis, Santa Agnes and San Mateo, you will love the experience. That same day in the evening, it's the best time to visit Ibiza, and program a tour to the old town.

You can visit the old town also at night, which is perfect if you visit the island in summer. Just after the visit to the old town, we could go to the port of Ibiza, that is famous because of the night life. On the streets just between the port and the old town you can find some very nice entretainment like Caopeira show.

Saturday

Another big Hippie Market day, this time locate at the village of San Carlos. The village will transform into a Hippie Market. There is always park available! Remember this name "Las Dalias"

After the "Las Dalias market" It's time to go to the North-West of the Island, to San Antonio. San Antonio is, probably, the best place of Ibiza to see the sunset in summer. Just go to the end of the port and find a nice spot on the rocks, get a tripod and a camera and just enjoy the view!

During the day, you could visit the best Cala's of Ibiza, which are just next to San Antonio: Cala Salada, Cala Bassa, Cala Comte, Cala Tarida, Cala D'Hort, Cala Carbo.

We could also visit the village of San Jose, which has the highest point of the island, S'Atalaya (450meters). It is possible to get to the top with car.

Sunday

Finally Sunday. Sunday will be reserved to Formentera, the caribe of the mediterranean sea. There are ferry's that will take you to Formentera from different points of Ibiza. We recommend to take the ferry from the port of Ibiza

Prices depend on the travel time, we really encourage you to get the ferry to Formentera from Ibiza town. Keep in mind that it will be almost necessary to rent a vehicle once we get to Formentera to be able to visit the whole island which has about 16 kiloemters

If you preffer to stay in Ibiza, our last stop will be the "Platja de ses Salines"!

Remeber to visit us before you leave the island!
